History

With over 20 years of know-how combined with a passion for bodywork and trailers, Daniel Vandamme founded in 1999 the former A & D Trucks & Trailers establishment at the Izegemsestraat in Rumbeke.

In 2001 his son Christ joined him. The family business saw a very rapid growth, and soon the establishment proofed to be too small. The transition towards a larger site in the Schaapbruggestraat in Rumbeke became a necessity.

In 2011, A & D Trucks & Trailers was accredited as a recognized constructor. This is the proof that A&D has its business internally well under control, puts the customer as a matter of principle in the first place, can show reliable results, and continually works on improving its service providing.

In the framework of the continuous concern to deliver an optimum service provision, we moved in march 2012 from Rumbeke towards a larger establishment at the Noordkaai in Izegem.

End of 2016 A & D Trucks & Trailers decided to enlarge the workplace at Izegem, as well as on the same time building new offices.

The company of managers Christ and Daniel Vandamme has always established itself as a reliable and official Belgian importer for Pacton Trailers, System Trailers, Max-Trailers and Frappa bodyworks. As from 2015 onwards, A & D Trucks & Trailers started with their own brand for trailers: A & D Trucks & Trailers.

The principal activities are the construction of superstructures, the maintenance and repair of all towed equipment. Since 2012 A & D Trucks & Trailers have the recognition of the “Conformity of Production” (COP) for the scope: construction and modification of vehicles of categories N & O. Besides this, the company provides brake tests, certifications and repairs of damages to both chassis and superstructures.
